Winter Is A Brewing!!
Alas, the season of Oktober fests has ended. But that doesn’t mean the plethora of amazing seasonal brews has! Yes, we all crave a great pumpkin spiced beer, but now we have to move on to all the fantastic drinks winter provides!
How about a Isolation Ale from Odell Brewing in Ft. Collins? This brew is a sweet caramel malty ale that is balanced by a subtle hop finish, the perfect combo to grab after a day of play outside in the snow.
Why not try a Winter Warlock by Bristol Brewing out of Colorado Springs? This oatmeal stout is chock full of highly roasted barley malt and flaked oatmeal. This beer is a smooth, rich and unexpectedly comforting elixir.
The fantastic Accumulation IPA by New Belgium in Ft Collins is also a choice for the winter season. Flurries of Mosaic and Amarillo hops bring soft fruit and citrus flavors to this brew. Of course, a fantastic bitter flavor will follow since this is a wonderful little IPA.
So don’t worry, fellow Coloradan. There are plenty of local winter brews to get you through the frosty season!
