Fall Foliage Frenzy!
Colorado is beautiful year round, but we all have to admit that there’s something about the changing of the aspens in the Rockies that really gets us all excited. It’s a requirement that at least once a year as the leafs start gathering a golden hue, everyone must pile in to their cars and head for the mountain roads. Coloradans have know of this phenomenon for a long time, but now so does the rest of the world. Travel & Leisure magazine put out an article the beginning of this month called “America’s Best Towns for Fall Colors“, which featured top rated town across the US to go leaf-peeping. Not one, but 4 Colorado mountain towns are ranked high on the list, including Snowmass Village(#8), Glenwood Springs (#10), Estes Park (#11), and Ouray (#20).
Colorado sure must be offering up something unique to be mentioned so many times. But, as we all know, there’s more aspens to see than just the ones mentioned in these few towns. Make sure not to miss out on the amazing sights that our Rockies have to offer during the season!!
