Estes Park Winter Festival 2015
January normally has people hunkered down in their homes on cold days, but there’s no reason to stay inside when there’s plenty out there to do!
Estes Park is the perfect place to be January 16th-19th- the town will be hosting its annual Winter Festival and celebrating Rocky Mountain National Park’s 100th year anniversary. Celebrate the winter season with high-flying skiers and snowboarders demonstrating their skills on indoor trampolines, ice skating downtown, tasting award-winning chili, and sipping a variety of beers and wines. There will be demonstrations and information sharing from Rocky Mountain National Park, as well as a film screening of the new Centennial film by Fall River Productions.
On Monday the 19th, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, fun activities will ensue such as ice dancing performances, “beat the goalie” hockey game, face painting, live music, a dog costume contest, trackless train rides and more! Enjoy shopping in the unique boutiques downtown and filling up on savory brats, hot cocoa and cider. Venture into Rocky Mountain National Park, it is a free entrance day on Monday for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday!
This festival will surely warm you up!
