Everyone loves a good winter festival. How about one sponsored by Budweiser set in the middle of one of our favorite mountain towns, Breckenridge?

January 27th-Febuary 8th, you can visit the Budweiser International Snow Sculpture Championship and see some amazing art work outdoors! Snow artists from around the world will create sculptures out of  20+ ton, 12 feet tall blocks of snow. Teams will compete using only hand tools, achieving finished pieces across five days (65 hours) of sculpting in this one of a kind event. From the 27th- 30th is sculpting week so you can watch the artists in action as the chip away at the hardened snow. The best day to visit is the 29th, which is the day before the judging, when all the artists are preparing to stay up all night to finalize the details and the atmosphere is celebratory. Come and see these beautiful sculptures lit up at night and enjoy a beer at one of the local pubs in Breckenridge.
